In this play along series, I’ve recorded all 52 exercises from “52 Progressive Jazz Comping Rhythms”. I play each exercise at a slow tempo and at a medium tempo, 2 repetitions at each tempo.
What I suggest is to listen to the audio first to get the sound of the rhythm in your head, then learn to play it along with the sheet music. Once you think you have it, try playing along with the audio. Once you can comfortably do that, feel free to move on to the next exercise.
